Ivan Parker, Southern Gospel Music's Favorite Male Soloist

The Southern Gospel music of Ivan Parker has touched the lives of thousands. He has recorded over 30 projects including "Redeemer", "It's True", "Vintage Homecoming","Under Grace" and his latest, "That Was Then...This Is Now". He has also recorded ten videos including "Believe" and "Live".


Ivan Parker - The Gold City Years

Ivan Parker got his start in Southern Gospel music with The Singing American in 1982. In 1983 Ivan Parker joined The Gold City Quartet as their lead vocalist. During his years with Gold City the group recieved many awards including seven Faorite Group Awards and 19 Top Ten Hits. They also received a Dove award for the 1993 classic, "There Rose A Lamb".

During his years with Gold City, Ivan recorded what may be one of Southern Gospel's most powerful songs, "Midnight Cry". He was voted Faorite Male Vocalist several years in a row.


Ivan Parker Goes Solo and Trio

In 1994 Ivan Parker launched his solo career. Since then he has released 13 major recordings including, "Journey To Forever" and the Christmas project, "Merry Christmas from Ivan.Watch Big Brother 9 24/7 on SuperPass

Ivan Parker joined the Gaither Trio in 1996, with Southern Gospel icons Bill and Gloria Gaither. In 1999, he joined up with Kirk Talley and Anthony Burger to form The Trio. They released their first project entitled, "Trio" which was followed up in 2001 by their second project, "The Trio, Back By Popular Demand".

Ivan Parker has released several critically accaimed solo CD's including 2002's, "It's True", 2003's, "Just Imagine" , 2004's "Redeemer" and his recent release, "That Was Then...This Is Now".
