- Choose a good singer to sing along with (Preferably your favorite singer). One that you like the style of. While you may want to sound like a certain singer, always remember that you have your own voice. You can learn improper techniques by trying to sound just like your favorite singer.
- When learning how to sing, always stand up to sing, it allows more air into the lungs.
- Remember to keep stopping to have water.
- Do a vocal warm up before singing. Like any muscle in your body, your vocal also need to be stretched before singing. This way you can prevent vocal damage while singing.
